Overview

LabHostel is situated right in the historical centre of Nazaré which is a privileged area without traffic and just 1 Min away from the beach, the main plaza (esplanades, coffee shops, bars and restaurants), and the famous Nazaré Lift which takes you to the “Sítio” where you can visit “Praia do Norte” and watch its well known giant waves.

The Bus Station is also very near, approx. 5 Min walking, and you can also rent a bike.

Housed in a fully renewed building (2015) which was previously a laboratory, LabHostel has the capacity to host 28 people: it has 3 dorms, each one with shared bathrooms and 3 bunk beds (equipped with lighting and locker); 2 family rooms (up to 4 people) and 1 double/twin room, each one with private bathroom, shower and heating.

There is also a dining room where you can enjoy your daily breakfast and a living room with TV, DVD, several books and board games.
An area to wash wetsuits and to keep your equipment and belongings is also available, what makes Labhostel a perfect place to surfers, groups of friends, adventurers, couples and family.

Beach towels, hairdryers, adapters for hire and several equipment for Surf, Body board and/or Paddle practice are available for renting.

WiFi is free and available within the hostel area.

Nazaré  is a beautiful village very famous for its nice and gold sandy beaches, ideal for the practice of water sports, such as surf and body board; the most well known is “Praia do Norte” for its giant waves.
You can relax, walk on by, or take beautiful pictures; the village has also a water park, a library, a museum and a forest area with pedestrian trails, where you can enjoy an outdoor meal.
Other activities such as sport fishing, Surf, Body board or paddle classes, guided tours to the village and surroundings, surf trips or Tuk Tuk trips, can be arranged upon previous booking.

Close to the Labhostel, there are several shops, supermarkets, restaurants, coffee shops, bars and a pharmacy.
